To actively work towards eliminating gender-based discrimination, bias, and stereotypes within the orchestra.
To foster an inclusive culture that respects and values the unique perspectives and contributions of individuals of all genders.

Monitoring + Evaluation — The orchestra will regularly monitor and evaluate its progress towards gender equity goals, using data and feedback to inform ongoing efforts. This may include collecting demographic data, conducting surveys, and soliciting input from members and stakeholders.
Accountability
All members, volunteers, staff, and stakeholders are responsible for upholding the principles of this gender equity policy and for contributing to a culture of inclusion and respect. Violations of this policy will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of membership or participation in orchestra activities.
Review + Revision
This gender equity policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure its effectiveness and relevance. Feedback from members, stakeholders, and external experts will be solicited to inform revisions and updates as needed.
